    #WalangPasok: Course and work suspended on August 31 (Thursday) due to bad weather 

    Metro Manila (Philippines, August 31) – Several local government units (LGUs) announced the suspension of classes on Thursday due to the strengthening southwest monsoon brought by Super Typhoon Goring with occasional rains. for Luzon. 

    According to the state weather agency, “Goring” had left the Philippine area of responsibility when severe tropical cyclone Hanna entered Wednesday night.

    – Navotas (classes in all levels; public and private) 

    – Malabon (classes in all levels; public and private) 

    – Marikina (classes in all levels; public and private) 

    – Manila (classes in all levels; public and private; work in city hall) 

    – Caloocan (classes in all levels; public and private) 

    – Rizal (classes in all levels; public and private) 

    – Pasay (classes in all levels; public and private) 

    – Pasig (classes in all levels; public and private) 

    – Taguig (classes in all levels; public and private) 

    – Quezon City (pre-school to Grade 12; public schools) 

    – Parañaque (classes in all levels; public and private) 

    – Las Piñas (classes in all levels; public and private) 

    – Pateros (classes in all levels; public and private) 

    – Mandaluyong (pre-school to Grade 12; public and private) 

    – San Juan (classes in all levels; public and private)

    Some government offices also suspended work due to the bad weather
