    Marcos attended the 43rd ASEAN Opening Ceremony in Indonesia

    But of course, like most ASEAN summits, the story doesn’t end there,” he stressed.The FDFA official said ASEAN leaders are expected to present more than 90 target documents covering a variety of topics during meetings in September. 

    These include: 

    • Declaration of ASEAN leaders on enhancing food security and nutrition in response to crisis 
    • Joint Statement on Strengthening Food Security Cooperation among ASEAN, Australia, Canada and India 
    • ASEAN Guidelines for the Protection of Migrant Workers and Their Family Members in Crisis Situations 
    • Declaration of ASEAN Leaders on Digital Economy Development and Framework Agreement. 
       
    • ASEAN Joint Statement on Climate Change at the 28th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
