
LPA turned into a tropical depression named Ineng
PAGASA reported on Tuesday that a low pressure area (LPA) in the extreme northeastern part of Luzon has developed into a tropical depression and has been named Ineng.
At 4 a.m., the center of Tropical Depression Ineng was estimated to be 925 km east of the northern pole of Luzon, with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the centre, gusts of up to 55 km/h, and a central pressure of 1002.HPa.
Ineng is moving slowly northward with strong winds extending outward up to 150 km from the center of the storm.
No tropical storm wind signals have been detected at this time.
